What to Research
As you complete your research, look for the following information. Always keep track of your resources!
1. Describe their early life.
- What are some interesting facts?
- Did they have an easy or hard life growing up?
2. Who and/or what influenced them to pursue their career?
- Did they have a mentor?
3. Describe the person's success.
- What are they known for?
- Are they a philanthropist?
4. Describe any failures they have had and what they learned from them.
- Did they work in another career before finding success?
- Did they fail before they were successful?
5. Describe their legacy.
- What will people remember this person for in future generations?
6. Why would your entrepreneur be considered important to the American economy?
- In a market economy, how does that person contribute to the health of the economy?
- Did they survive a recession/depression? Is their product/service "depression proof"?
7. How can what you learn help in your new business?
- Convince Kovacs you are not wasting her money.
